Hitting a Brick Wall

I'm really struggling today. Have revised the first 3 chapters again, but having trouble moving on. Wonder if this happens to "real" writers?

On a brighter note, I received my Camp NaNoWriMo t-shirt! (Oh, and I got a sun-burn while swimming.)

Maybe my nifty shirt will inspire me tomorrow.

  1. Love the new shirt! Wearing a writing-related t-shirt always makes me feel like a real writer, or at least makes me look like one, LOL!

  2. Bet you're doing better today. I'm using the session to plan for November. :) Plenty to do.

  3. I am feeling better today, Vikk, thanks. It's amazing what a good night's sleep can do.

I woke up this morning with a renewed determination to write. During my quiet time, God took me directly to 2 Timothy, 1:6 & 7

"...I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline."

I know that God has given me the gift of writing and I won't let fear or self-doubt take that away from me. I'm just going to push ahead and trust Him to give me the wisdom and the words I need to write a book that will encourage others.

Wearing my Camp shirt today, Janel. Shoot, I might just wear it every day until this book is finished!
